In this tutorial, I am going to show you how you can add a Godaddy custom domain to blogger.There are too many bloggers that are working on internet and most of the bloggers are using blogger.com to start their new blog but there is a great problem the blog url indicates that your blog is a sub-domain of Blogspot.com eg; myblog.blogspot.com.As we know that blogger.com was allowing us to buy a domain and use it with your blog in last few years and now this facility is unavailable so, If we want to show our blog in a custom domain we have to buy the domain from another provider or registrar eg, Godaddy.com

Buying a Domain on Godaddy:

Before we start you must have need a desired website that you will be setting up on your blogger blog, This tutorial is on Godaddy domains So, all next steps will be performed at a Godaddy domain So buy a domain name at Godaddy that will be set up with your blog.

Setting Up Godaddy Custom Domain in Blogger Blog:

Step 1: Go to Blogger.com
Step 2: Click on the desired blog in Blogger Dashboard and select Settings.
Step 3: After Clicking on Settings option now click on Setup a 3rd party URL for your blog.
Step 4: Now Third-Party Domain Settings will get open.After ''http://'' add your purchased domain URL Don't forget to add www before the domain name eg, www.yourdoamin.com.
Step 5: Now Click on Save you will get an error ''We have not been able to verify your authority to this domain. Error 12''
Step 6: You will see two fields.Field 1: (Name, Label, or Host field) Field 2: (Destination, Target, or Points To field)Copy both fields and save in a .txt file.
Step 7: Login to your Godaddy account.
Step 8: Click on My Account Tab and Click on Manage My Domains.
Step 9: Now you will see your purchased domain names.

Step 10: Click on the domain name that you want to set up on your blogger blog.
Step 11: Click on the DNS Zone File you will see all DNS settings of your domain.
Step 12: Go to CName (Alias) Section and Delete a record that is shown in image below.
Step 13: Now click on the Add Record under Zone File.
Step 14: Now select the CName (Alias) option in Record Type to add a CName Record.

Step 15: Now add 1st record that was provided in blogger.add '' www '' in Host field and '' ghs.google.com '' in Points To field and click on Add Another.
Step 16: Now add the second Record that is unique for every blogger blog I will add mine records.
After adding both records this will look like this in CName (Alias) Settings:
Step 17: Now For adding A (Host) Records we need 4 unique IPs provided by Google that are listed below.
216.239.32.21
216.239.34.21
216.239.36.21
216.239.38.21
 Step 18: Now once again click on the Add Record under Zone File.
Step 19: Now select A (Host) option in Record Type and add '' @ '' in Host field and add '' 216.239.32.21 '' in Points To field.Repeat this process and add all 4 IPs that are provided above.
By clicking on add Another you can add all the records continuously.
After Adding all IPs these will look like this in A (Host) Section of the domain.
Step 20: Now go back to Blogger > SettingsSetup a 3rd party URL for your blog add the domain name with '' www '' eg, www.yourdomain.com and click on Save.
Step 21: It might take 24 hours to get saved, Some times custom domain gets saved immediately.When it gets saved click on edit.
Step 22: Click on Redirect yourdomain.com to www.yourdomain.com.After this user will reach your website without'' www '' and naked domain will be redirected to www.yourdomain.com
Step 23: Now Enjoy After liking Our Facebook Fan Page.
