How To Decode Unicode (\x \u) With Google Chrome Console
Unicode provides a unique number For every character, whether it is Arabic , English, Or Marathi. This Unique number same for all the programming languages, operating systems and also the world wide web.
Unicode can be used for encoding and obfuscation of JavaScript to make it Unreadable. So In this article I'm sharing how to convert a unicode number back to a character with Google Chrome Browser.
Unicode number of a character is same for all the programming languages so you can use Google Chrome console for decoding any unicode character of any programming Language you want.

How To Decode Unicode With Google Chrome Console

  • You must Have Google Chrome Installed on your PC and if you don't have then you can download it using this link
  • After installing Google Chrome YOu need to open Chrome Console by Pressing Ctrl+Shift+J
  • After opening browser console type in your unicode character that you want to decode and press enter and you will get the character the represented by the Unicode number.
  • For example if you typed in "\x68\x69" (with quotes) in chrome console then it will give you the output as "hi" For better understanding have look at the screenshot given above this article.
