Here are some information you need in order to obtain learning materials under the Creative Commons license:

Familiarize with the Open Educational Resources movement and the Creative Commons license by reading up materials from the following resources:

         1.     Open Educational Resources Commons

         2.      Background of Open Educational Resources
(Not to be confused with Open Education)

        3.       Open Educational Resources Infokit
(from JISC of UK)

       4.       Commonwealth Of Learning

       5.       Advantages and Disadvantages of OERs

       6.       Creative Commons:

       7.       Check for YouTube videos under the Creative Commons tag

       8.       Check for Flickr pictures under the Creative Commons tag

       9.       Go to Google.com and type the search item:
e.g. "Creative Commons YouTube free videos"
or "Creative Commons Flickr free images"
and you can get many items.  Please search for the contents they you want.

Remember that for Creative Commons license, you can have the following categories:
·         Attribution only (this means that you can only attribute the source to the originators)
·         Attribution share alike
·         Attribution non-commercial
·         Attribution non-commercial share alike
·         Attribution no derivative (this means that you cannot change the contents and pass it under the Creative Commons license)
·         Attribution non-commercial no derivative
