Here are the three SugarLabs Open Source projects that sparked my interest the most:

Tam Tam Edit 66: This project looks like it's basically a simple Digital Audio Workstation for kids. I'm trying to get into music editing myself, so working on a project like this might give me some perspective into the field. I think every kid should have the chance to explore music.

Physics: This looks like something I would want to play with for hours. It simulates real world interactions between objects that you create, and is the kind of game that will stimulate spatial thinking and encourage kids to pursue math/science/engineering.

Typing Turtle: Typing properly is an essential skill in this day and age. Might as well learn it right when you're young.
